Dr. Messersmith graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1983. He did a general practice residency program at Bryn Mawr Hospital for one year. He then joined a Dr Marcks and Warner in Allentown Pa, where he practiced for five years. In 1989 he purchased Dr. Kenneth Miller's practice in Fleetwood Pa. In July 2004 he moved the practice to a beautifully renovated office in Kutztown on Trexler Avenue.
His main interests include cosmetic dental makeovers, orthodontics and digital imaging. The goal being to offer comprehensive family dentistry.
He is married to Dr. Linda Baker, a veterinarian, and they have two sons Matthew and Aaron. Dr Messersmith,Dr Baker and their sons are active in the Boy Scouts of America as well as Kutztown School Athletics and Band.
